Kabardian horses are unique in their endurance, toughness, and steadiness. They are specific in how they have been able to adapt to the harsh climatic conditions of their place of origin. Since their original home is the mountains of the North Caucasus, they had to learn to move in inhospitable terrain. Thanks to this, they can go through steep mountain passes, and they do not even have a problem moving in deep snow. Winters here in Orava will not be an issue for them.

They are not only strong, durable horses, but also very intelligent. They have an amazing ability to orientate – they can find their way in the dark or fog without hesitation.

Did you know? Kabardian horses hold the endurance record as they covered an incredible 3,000km around the Caucasus in 37 days. It is the only breed of horse that has managed to cross this dangerous mountain area.
